All signs point to SIR 2017 being another successful meeting, mirroring the field’s continuing growth.
With society membership now in excess of 7,000, and meeting attendance reaching levels higher than it has in the past five years (including record numbers of medical student attendees), the energy and commitment of the IR community can be felt throughout the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
“The changes that the specialty is experiencing represent exciting opportunities for further growth,” said SIR Executive Director Susan E. Sedory Holzer, MA, CAE. “And this year’s annual meeting clearly reflects that trend. SIR 2017 Chair Robert J. Lewandowski, MD, FSIR, and the rest of the SIR Annual Meeting Committee deserve credit for putting together a tremendous program.”
SIR thanks you for joining the IR world at this year’s annual meeting. We’ll see you at the SIR 2018 Annual Scientific Meeting, March 17–22, 2018, in Los Angeles, Calif.
